Description
The Anglo-Omani Society (AOS) is a charitable organisation working with the objective of preserving the longstanding friendship between Britain and Oman. The Society was formed in January 1976 with HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said as the Society’s Patron and HE The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in London as its President.
Webnetism were tasked with updating the Anglo-Omani Society website, which is now responsive & integrated with our bespoke CMS:42 content management system.
Before the website design began we were also tasked with updating the logo, a delicate undertaking as the logo includes the official 'Khanjar' and any representation of it had to be approved by the Embassy. A couple of modern takes on the design were presented along with a more conservative refresh of the traditional look. It's this refreshed version that was chosen with an updated font. Brand guidelines were provided to ensure the logo and it's approved iterations were always presented correctly.
The website allows visitors to join events as members and add guests to join them at events hosted by The Anglo-Omarni Society. Payments for membership can be processed via direct debit through the website.
This web site was designed using Adobe XD and built in ASP .net and C#. SQL server offers database support. Hosting is carried out in our private data centre in Gloucester.
