Google Plus Closing Down in 2019
Google plus suffered a huge cybersecurity fail in 2018 where they estimated it to have affected 500,000+ users. The reason Google plus can’t confirm the exact number of users affected is due to the fact that they can’t keep an API log on data. Google decided to shut it down over a few months, after taking a security audit and looking over the performance of the social network. Who knows what the future holds, Google might reformulate Google plus as a business tool? Then again it has also been suggested that the data leak was used as anexcuse to get rid of a product that was not performing as expected.
